The Fallen at Pecos

It's an interesting experience walking around the ruins of what once was one of the busiest juncture of trade between people of the Rio Grande valley and the hunting tribes of the buffalo plains along  the Santa fe trail. It was an extensive city until the last remaining Pecos people migrated to the Pueblo of Jemez in the 1830's. And yet beauty remains...
